The Conference on Consumer Finance Law (CCFL) invites second year law students to submit abstracts for consideration in an upcoming issue of the Consumer Finance Law Quarterly Report (CFLQR). This initiative is designed to foster emerging scholarship in consumer finance law by pairing selected students with experienced practitioners and scholars in the field to co-author a publishable article. Initial submissions for consideration are due December 15, 2026. Students whose papers are successfully published in the CFLQR may be invited to present at an upcoming CCFL conference, with approved travel and lodging expenses paid by CCFL (some restrictions apply). These conferences provide excellent networking opportunities for aspiring lawyers.
It is our hope that the program will encourage and support the next generation of consumer finance scholars and practitioners by providing structured mentorship and professional exposure. The Call for Papers is attached and is open to all second year law students.
